LINEN AND CLEANING
Bedding (duvet, pillows and covers) and towels are provided.There is no cleaning service during lets; the apartment is cleaned between lets and should be left clean and tidy by departing guests.The apartment will have tea/coffee, and biscuits and guests can use: shampoo; conditioner; body lotion etc in the bath/shower area.

YOUR BOOKING
Dates are not reserved for you until after you have confirmed that you want to make a booking, so please reply quickly after being informed of availability and price.

CONFIRMING A BOOKING
Confirm your intention to book by email in the first instance. We will then reserve your booking for seven days until we receive confirmation from you in writing, a 'Conditions of Hire' signed by you and part or full payment from you. Payment should be made using one of the payment options listed below.

Your booking request should include the following

• Your address and home phone number.
• Dates of arrival and departure.
• The number of persons in your party.
• The sum of £150 (if over 1 month prior to arrival date) to cover a part-payment of £75 and a refundable damage deposit of £75. . Full payment of the outstanding balance is made on arrival. If payment is made by cheque this must be received 7 full days prior to arrival to allow clearance of funds. It is important to note that the refundable deposit of £75 will be held until after your holiday. Thereafter the deposit will be refunded to you, normally by post, after any necessary deductions. If 2 cheques for £75 are sent at the time of booking then 1 cheque will not be cashed and if all okay it will be shredded after the guests leaves.

• UK cheque, made payable to: T Crane, If paying by cheque, please forward your booking request, a signed 'Conditions of Hire' and payment by U.K. cheque to: T Crane, 71 Daiches Braes, Brunstane, Edinburgh, EH15 2RD
• Direct transfer to UK bank account - if paying by Direct Transfer, please request details from us. Thereafter, forward to us your booking request and a signed 'Conditions of Hire' to: T Crane, 71 Daiches Braes, Brunstane, Edinburgh, EH15 2RD
• Paypal and Western Union CONFIRMATION RESPONSEAs soon as possible we will send confirmation of your booking either by email or by post. The remaining cash balance can be made on arrival . If payment is made by cheque this must be received 7 full days prior to arrival

Daiches Braes ground floor studio apartment forms part of a townhouse and is a comfortable self-catering flat.

This apartment has gas central heating and parking - a south facing courtyard which is lovely to sit out in. The apartment has a lounge and kitchen: separate bedding area; separate shower room; separate w/c and wash hand basin and plenty of cupboard space

The apartment is located close to Brunstane train station which is a 5 minute train journey to Waverley station Princes Street, Edinburgh, and is 1 mile from Portobello, Edinburgh’s seaside resort.

Opposite the apartment there is Brunstane burn with cycle path which leads to Newhailes House (National Trust for Scotland) and central Edinburgh the other way (bikes can be made available). A good train and bus service is in operation and a 44n bus operates throughout the night.

Booking deposit £75, with the balance to be paid on arrival.

The fridge/freezer can be stocked for you at cost price of goods to make your stay easy for you.
